Christmas at OUR house!

We are very lucky to have most of our family in town throughout the year! However, during the holidays it gets very hectic. A few years ago we started having Christmas with just the four of us a few days early. This year, we opened presents on December 23rd. It was so nice to not be in a hurry, and let the kids enjoy their new stuff, as kids should!

Rylee Elizabeth and Cutter Harold

Justin and the kids!

Momma and her babies!
Yes, they will always be my babies!

Of course, he picks out the BIGGEST one first!

The precious picture frame Rylee made us!

The adorable, hand-made scrap book Rylee made for me!

This year, I took the kids individually to get each other a present.
Cutter walked into Bath and Body Works and saw this hot pink rubber ducky on the very top shelf! He also picked out some body wash and lotion! What a great shopper he was, and his Roo Roo was so excited to open his present!

Rylee found a bucket full of Army Men for Cutter! He loves to play with them and it allows his imagination to run wild!

Testing the new boxing gloves!

I bought myself the best present ever...Super Mario Brothers!!! I even opened it before I wrapped it, and had half of the game won, but shhh....
I have so many fond memories of Ryan and I playing this game on the original Nintendo. My dad would even play with us. Only he would jump higher than Mario would...hahaha!

Cutter's cool new Hot Wheels track.

Rylee's magical magician set.

  1. Great tradition, Chad and I plan on doing that with Payton. With all the craziness, it's nice to slow down and enjoy it!
